Jordanian food manufacturers are actively participating in the three-day International Food and Drink Event (IFE) 2025 in London this week to broaden reach in the UK market.
According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the three-day event provides an essential platform for Jordanian food manufacturers to exhibit an array of products, such as confectionery, baked goods, spices, nuts, and specialty foods, to international buyers and distributors. The event, which started on Monday and concludes on Wednesday, serves as a pivotal opportunity for Jordanian food manufacturers to boost businesses.
Ahmad Khudari, President of the Jordan Exporters Association, emphasized the event’s role in boosting business growth, particularly in the halal food sector, and expanding export markets to strengthen production, industry, investment, and trade balance.

Khudari also underlined the importance of establishing direct links with international buyers and distributors to promote the superior quality and competitive advantages of Jordanian food products.
Halim Abu Rahma, General Manager of the Jordan Exporters Association, noted strong buyer interest and described the event as an excellent platform for showcasing Jordanian companies’ innovation and quality. He also reaffirmed the association’s dedication to supporting exporters in accessing major trade shows, diversifying markets, and exploring new opportunities.
Abu Rahma urged companies to utilize the Jordan-UK free trade agreement to secure a resilient position in the market.

Implemented in 2021, the agreement seeks to bolster trade relations by allowing Jordanian goods tariff-free access to the UK. In 2023, the trade volume between Jordan and the UK reached approximately 303 million dinars ($427 million), with Jordanian exports contributing 62 million dinars in total.
The International Food and Drink Event 2025 hosts 1,500 exhibitors globally and is expected to draw around 30,000 buyers and distributors from over 105 nations.
