The 12th Annual Investment Meeting (AIM Global 2023), scheduled for May 8 to 10, 2023, will convene under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. With this year’s theme, “The Investment Paradigm Shift: Future Investment Opportunities To Foster Sustainable Economic Growth, Diversity and Prosperity,” the event is set to unite influential speakers, visionaries, and experts from around the globe.
Over 600 influential speakers will participate in dialogue sessions, focusing on two main tracks: Investment and Innovation Technology. The conference aims to create a platform for open discussions on the latest investment trends and opportunities, exchanging ideas, and exploring potential partnerships.
Dawood Al Shezawi, Chairman of the Annual Investment Meeting, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “AIM, the largest investment forum, has succeeded in its previous editions in solidifying the position of the UAE on the global investment map, and in pushing forward its progress over the next 50 years.” He added that the gathering would provide businesspeople and investors with opportunities to establish agreements, introduce new channels of work, and expand their businesses.
Since its inception in 2011, the AIM has grown significantly, evolving into a premier platform for driving global economic growth, with its reach expanding from 46 participating countries in 2011 to 174 countries in 2022.
AIM Global 2023 will feature various programs, including the Entrepreneurs Investment Summit, which will examine how Arab-African economic integration can be achieved by promoting bankable investment opportunities for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and macro investments from the region. Other notable programs include the Future Finance Forum, the Tourism Investment Forum, the Bloomberg New Energy Finance UAE Forum, the Distressed and Alternative Investment Forum, and The Finoverse Arabian Forum.
The event is expected to draw over 12,000 participants from 170 countries, featuring more than 100 dialogue forums and over 600 speakers from diverse sectors. Key sectors to be explored include tourism, agriculture, energy, technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, finance, healthcare, and education.
