Code of Ethics
Introduction: Our code of ethics was collaboratively drafted by our esteemed colleagues, Trade World News management, and stakeholders after careful consideration and was agreed upon on April 7th, 2023. We voluntarily publish this code of ethics to showcase our dedication to being a responsible digital publication. Please note that while we reserve the right to make changes, we are committed to upholding the values and principles outlined in this code of ethics.
- As proponents of modern democracy, we acknowledge and abide by the rules and regulations outlined in our respective countries' constitutions. However, as a trusted publication in the field of trade, commerce, and business, we will not let anyone stop us from publishing independent and current trade world developments.
- We firmly reject and condemn any attempt to promote or propagate color discrimination, whether directly or indirectly. Our commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and equality is at the forefront of our reporting, and we firmly believe that discrimination has no place in our society or within our publication. In all our reporting, we strive to uphold these values and ensure that our coverage reflects a broad spectrum of perspectives and experiences, promoting fairness and impartiality in all our content.
- We unequivocally reject any form of discrimination based on gender, religion, caste, politics, or borders, whether it be amongst our colleagues, employees, readers, or the trade world at large. We firmly believe in equality and inclusivity, and we do not publish any advertisements or news items that promote such differences. Moreover, we pledge not to engage in any activities that promote these differences, whether directly or indirectly.
- We firmly support the promotion of political, social, economic, and religious freedoms for all individuals, and we are committed to advocating for these basic human rights. We believe that every person, including our colleagues, should be entitled to these fundamental freedoms without discrimination or oppression. As a responsible media organization, we are dedicated to upholding these principles and will continue to work towards ensuring that these rights are protected and upheld for everyone.
- Our organization is committed to upholding the values of accuracy, transparency, and fairness in the news. We will not tolerate any individuals among our colleagues who do not share this commitment. If any reporter publishes material that is baseless or distorted, we will take appropriate action against them.
- If we come across evidence that indicates a news report or article contains false or inaccurate information, we will take the necessary steps to rectify the situation. This will involve issuing another news story that includes the correct information and supplementing it with details that clearly indicate that the previous news/article contained incorrect information. We are committed to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our news reporting, and we take swift action to correct any mistakes that may occur.
- Along with photographs captured by our photographers, we may also obtain images from news sources or free non-copyrighted picture suppliers for use in our news stories. However, if any concerns are raised regarding the use of these images after they have been published, we will take the necessary action to address the issue. To do so, we require clear and scientific evidence to be provided that demonstrates the validity of the issue in question.
- Our business publication adheres to a strict policy that governs our financial transactions. We conduct all our transactions exclusively through banks and do not engage in any form of direct payments in relation to our publication, Trade World News. By using banks for financial transactions, we maintain transparency and accountability in all our dealings, prevent fraudulent activities, and uphold our journalistic integrity. Our commitment to responsible and ethical business practices is critical to maintaining the trust and confidence of our readers and stakeholders, and we take this responsibility seriously.
By promulgating this code of ethics, we demonstrate our commitment to responsible and ethical business journalism and strive to maintain the trust and confidence of our readers and stakeholders.
